4 The Love Of Movement

4 the love of movement is a parkour and freerunning jam that happens twice a year in the Netherlands. Brought to you by Jump Freerun with sessions in the summer and winter it brings people from all around the world to eat, sleep and train together for a few beautiful days. Open to all movement experiences levels it a great place to see old friends and meet new ones.

Eating together like a big family. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner is included with options for both meat eaters and vegetarians.

Air tracks, trampolines, its the ultimate playground. 

Sleep together. Ok, so Jason, Zen and I kind of cheated on this part. We got an Airbnb and stayed a few minutes away to avoid this sleeping arrangement. It is a site to see. Lights go out at 10pm and I can only imagine how a bunch of rambunctious, sweaty, partakers make their way to find hammocks and sleep. Our suitcase with everything we own does not include hammocks and sleeping material at this point in the night. Once again, thanks to Airbnb and Uber we are able to have the luxuries of a car and home without actually owning them everywhere we go.

Around 10pm the lights get turned down and its time to unwind. Presentations and Q&A's are held. It's
 just a general opportunity to sit down, stretch and listen to what others have to say.

Toasties were available at the bar. Ham and cheese on toasted bread, this one with mustard. 

It was my first time trying Bitterballen, a Dutch delicacy. Minced or chopped meat (usually beef or veal) mixed with butter, flour, parsley, salt and pepper, rolled into small balls, breaded and deep fried to be served with mustard. I had mine with a beer and shared them with friends. Beers were one for two euros or three for five euros. Every time someone bought three beers a bell was rung. The bell went off a lot the last night.
